Degree Certificate

For the purpose of awarding Degrees to the candidates who have successfully completed various Degrees and Diplomas, the University conducts Convocation normally once in a year. The Degrees for candidates of the University Departments/Constituent Colleges and all Ph.D candidates are awarded in person or in absentia. All other candidates are awarded degrees in absentia through the respective affiliated colleges

Application form can be obtained from the Controller of Examinations in the case of affiliated colleges and from the Registrar in the case of University Departments/ Constituent Colleges. Application form can also be obtained by sending a self addressed Rs.5 stamped envelope along with a request letter.

Details regarding certificates to be enclosed, amount to be paid and application forwarding information are available along with the application form.

Degree certificates of latest batch candidates will be issued only after the convocation and for others, it will be issued as and when they apply.

Duplicate Certificate

The candidate should submit a request to the Controller of Examinations to obtain duplicate certificate(s).

The duplicate certificate(s) will be issued only after completing the formalities as per the University rules. The details will be given to the applicant who is seeking duplicate certificate(s).

Rank Certificate

Rank Certificates will be issued to the eligible candidates as per University norms with in a month from the date of receipt of the application.
Application should be sent to the Controller of Examinations through the Department/ Constituent College/ Affiliated College in which the candidate qualified.

Revaluation

The request for revaluation should be sent in the prescribed application form. The application can be had from their place of study. The fee for revaluation is as given below

PG                       Rs. 500\-

The demand draft for revaluation fee should be drawn in favour of The Registrar, Alagappa University payable at Karaikudi.

The candidate name and the Register Number should be written on the top left corner at the backside of the demand draft.

Enclose the Xerox copy of the mark statement along with the application form. Original mark statement SHOULD NOT be enclosed.

Requisition for revaluation must reach the Controller of Examinations within 15 days from the date of publication of results.

The candidate is advised to register for the subject in which the revaluation is sought for the upcoming examination within the stipulated time without waiting for the results of revaluation.

There is no provision for revaluation of practical papers.

There is no provision for revaluation of the answer scripts in which double valuation procedure is followed.

Incomplete / defective application will be rejected and the revaluation fee will neither be refunded nor adjusted.

The application duly filled in should be submitted to the Controller of Examinations only through the Head of the University Department/ Principal of Constituent College/ Affiliated College.

Revaluation results will be sent to the Head of the University Department/ Principal of Constituent College/ Affiliated College.
