Department of Biomedical Science
About the Department
Genesis

The Department of Biomedical Science was established in the year 2018 to provide young people with employment opportunities. This was done because the department realized how important it was to expose young minds to the various disciplines of biomedical science and related professions at an early age. Therefore, the main focus of the Biomedical Science programme is preparing students and research scholars for jobs in public health, academia, government, and the biopharmaceutical industry, as well as research and development. The department offers an M.Sc. programme in Biomedical Science and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science. The goal of this curriculum is to develop the competence of the students in Biomedical Science.

Vision

  1. To become an Internationally renowned centre for basic and translational biomedical research for the betterment of human health
  2. To be acknowledged as the premier organization in biological science

Mission

  1. To use cutting-edge instruction and research to equip graduates for careers as educators, researchers, and healthcare professionals
  2. Bring together eminent scientists from around the world working in all fields of biomedical research.
  3. Make available top-notch resources to our researchers.
