The purpose of providing this CAREER AWARD Grant to teachers is to pursue their research in their specialized areas. The quantum of support under the scheme is Rs.10.00 Lakhs. The minimum Selection criteria are (i) The applicant must have successfully supervised the Ph.D. dissertation of 15 full-time candidates, 5 of whom should have received their degrees during the preceding 5 years, (ii) The applicant must have successfully completed at least 5 sponsored research projects funded by national / international government or private agencies, (iii) The cumulative impact factor of the published papers by the applicant should be more than 30
