About MIS


Management Information System(MIS) of Alagappa University was established in the year of 2019. The vital role of MIS plays in the university's missions and related administrative activities as well as the importance in an academic environment of protecting information in all forms. It also provides IT and IT-enabled services such as the websites, cloud-based email services, wired and wireless networks, University-wide ERP applications, servers, databases and surveillance cameras.

System and Network Administration is governing the use of our university computing and IT communication resources, the resources administered by the administrative departments such as Library, Computer Laboratories, Offices of the university, Hostels and Guest houses wherever the network facility was provided by the university.

Further, the entire faculty, students, staff, departments, authorized visitors/visiting faculty and others who may be granted permission to use the IT Infrastructure, and must comply with the guidelines.

E-mail accounts have been facilitated to Departments and Students under E-mail Use policy which is reviewed and maintained whenever the modification happens. Database Usage policy is governed by the e-Governance division.

4 DDE Revaluation Apply Portal This Distance Education Revaluation Apply Portal is used to get the request from need students and to apply the needed subjects. Each subject script they have to pay Rs 600 after completed the request we have to submit the data processing wing to controller section to collect the applied scripts scanned copy to go for revaluation process. 5 Online Automation portal for DDE Admission for distance education in our Alagappa University, students can apply through our online portal and they can pay the fee through online payment gateway. Each applicant must choose the nearby learning centre from the learning Centre list in the online application form. Eligibility of applied student is verified in the learning centre login. Each learning Centre have their own username and password given by Directorate of Distance Education. After verification of educational qualification for the applied programme of the student, the learning centre can send the verified applications to Directorate of Distance Education in online. The scrutinizing team in DDE can check the eligibility conditions, applications as verified. Visit

6 Alagu-Fest 2019 Registration Portal This Alagu-Fest 2019 Registraion Portal all india south zone inter college / university competitions enroll their students and pay the registration fee from online payment gateway and display all the programme schedules and locations in a digital environment. 7 NSS online e-Quiz competition This NSS Online e - Quiz mainly developed for awareness of peoples from covid - 19. Those who got 50% and above marks they can download e certificate from the authority of this event as well as from the egistrar. Visit
8 Academic Information Portal The use of the portal is to show the university academic information via slides and videos of each faculty departments in KOISK mode. If the visitors to our university wants to know the academic details, they can just click on the KIOSK screen and can see the features of the departments as slideshows and video clips. Visit
9 Ph.D. Online Application In this Web Application we developed Pre-Registration Qualifying Entrance Examination for Ph.D. Programme form with eligibility criteria validation. Here students can upload their mandatory documents, and also students can pay their application fees through Online and get immediate response for payment. Student can print Application after Successful Payment. In admin Portal they can view All students application with successful payment. Here admin can accept and reject student application. Once admin accept the application Register Number generated automatically. Then student can print their hall ticket for Entrance Exam. Visit
10 Online Stock Maintenance In this portal Admin can add details like Department, Item, Invoice, Stocks, etc. And admin can also initiate the stock transfer from one department to another department. In this initiating transfer we maintain the stocks quantity details. Here Super Admin can add Admin authorization and details like Department, Item, Invoice, Stocks. Only Super Admin ca Accept or Decline the transfer Request from Admin. Visit

12 Event Management Individual department can update his event to portal. This event was viewed by the university and out of our university Inside our campus. All departments can view all the events and records too. Everyone can see our university news also Here we also get a reminder for a particular Events (via department login). Visit
13 Grievance Different category of student and staff was sending his/her grievances to our university by using of this portal. In Admin login, admin can view all types of grievances and verified it. Admin can also send a reply to the applicant. In Applicant status viewer, applicant can view his grievances status. Visit
